If there are any golfers in the valley who haven’t yet signed up for The Cove Golf Classic, this is the week to get it done. All entries and fees must be received by Friday (July 12).
The popular charity event that benefits The Cove will be played Saturday, July 20, at Windhaven Golf Course on West Chewuch Road north of Winthrop.
The roster is limited to 75 players on a first-come, first-served basis. Players are invited to sign up individually or as a team. The cost for an individual is $100 but a full foursome can save a Ben Franklin and get in for $300.
The course format is a best-ball foursome where selected par 3 holes will feature closest-to-the-pin competition.
Mulligans at $15, or two for $25, can be purchased prior to the start of play.
Along with a silent auction, the day’s events will include door prizes, drawings, barbecue lunch, and prizes for the top teams.
Checks should be made payable to The Cove (Golf Classic) and mailed to P.O.B. 895, Twisp, WA 98856.
