Beginning today (June 19), the Valley Teen Center will launch a summer activity series for junior high and high school-aged teens.
Activity sessions are free and will run from 3:45-7 p.m. at the TwispWorks campus unless otherwise noted.
The first activity night will feature mosaic making with local artist Laura Ruud. She will walk teens through the steps of creating a large-scale mosaic for the Teen Center and help with the installation process.
Students interested in attending activities should come to the Teen Center between 3:45 and 4:15 p.m. on Wednesdays to participate. Upcoming activities include bike repair, metal work, henna tattoos and much more.
