The community is invited to a benefit spaghetti dinner, auction and raffle to raise money for Kelly (Hammer) Powidzki on June 1, from 4-7 p.m. at the Eagles Hall in Twisp. Kelly, who is six months pregnant with her second child, was recently diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. Money raised during the evening will help the family with medical bills and other expenses.
Kelly is the daughter of Roger and Anna Hammer of Twisp. She and her husband, Edward, and 3-year-old daughter Zephyr currently live in Sequim.
Anyone wishing to donate items for the auction or raffle may contact any Eagle or Auxiliary member or call 997-8133. To volunteer for the event, call Susie Gardner at 996-3869.
Those unable to attend the dinner may also donate by sending a check to FOE Auxiliary 2584, P.O. Box 113, Twisp, WA 98856. Write “Kelly Powidzki” at the bottom of your check.
The Eagles Hall is at 205 S. Highway 20 in Twisp.
