Over 300 children took part in Saturday’s (April 19) Easter Egg hunt at Pearrygin Lake State Park. The event was sponsored by Twisp Valley Grange and Winthrop Kiwanis, with help from Key Club members. In the video above, the three- and four-year-old group gets off to a great start. More than 2,000 very brave plastic ducks were dumped into the Chewuch River on Labor Day to begin their erratic journey through the Methow River confluence and on to the finish line of the 15th annual Winthrop Duck Race, at the Highway 20 bridge east of downtown.
