Keeping the green

    Self-described hobby rancher Ted Lindsey, along with his dog, Chep, moves a length of irrigation pipe in his alfalfa field on the Twisp River flats Monday. Lindsey raises horses and hay at the ranch, where he retired three years ago after 40 years in the body shop business in Everett.
