Dean M. Longanecker, in just less than 69 trips around the sun, was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle, great (and to some, great-great) uncle, and true friend.

A self-proclaimed Beatle-maniac, beekeeper’s apprentice, defensive lineman that actually scored, basketball player that couldn’t do a left-handed dunk, race car promoter, skier, though not quite a golfer.

A gentleman scholar, firefighter, smokejumper, financier, swampest extraordinaire, world traveler, philanthropist, he fined and was fined by many.

A pronto-puppeteer, Billy the drummer’s manager, and the bassist that packed the North Central Washington Fairgrounds.

Truly a life a well lived. He is loved and shall be dearly missed.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 10, at the NCW Fairgrounds in Waterville. Arrangements assisted by Chapel of the Valley, Wenatchee.
