Local pianist Michael Brady will offer his annual solo recital on Dec. 30 at The Merc Playhouse in Twisp. The recital benefits Room One.

The event begins at 1:30 p.m Admission is by donation; S25 is suggested.

The program will include:

• Five promenades of Mussorgsky’s “Pictures at an Exhibition” as originally composed — and its portraits of an Old Castle, Oxcart, and Dwarf; the witch Baba Yaga and her Hut on Hens’ Legs, as well as a Ballet of Chickens in Their Eggs; the Market at Limoges, a young and an old Samuel Goldenberg, Catacombs, and some Tots’ Tiffs in the Tuilleries.

• Debussy’s three musical “Images (book II) of Bells Through the Leaves,” “The Moon Setting over a Temple That Was,” and “Poisson d’Or.”

• Beethoven’s last piano sonata, number 32 in C minor, opus 111, will close the program.
