The Atomic Bombshells will perform at the Winthrop Barn on Dec. 2.

The nights are getting colder, but the sizzling moves of the Atomic Bombshells, Seattle’s celebrated burlesque troupe, will melt away the pre-winter blues in a show at the Winthrop Barn on Dec. 2.

Presented by Methow Arts, the Atomic Bombshells are returning to the Winthrop Barn after a sold-out appearance in 2012. Polished and perfectly choreographed, the burlesque artists present an adults-only show that celebrates the feminine form with humor and style.

Originally hailing from the sultry swamps of New Orleans, the Atomic Bombshells have taken the international burlesque scene by storm. As original members of the illustrious Shim Sham Revue in the historic French Quarter, these ladies were taught their bumps ’n’ grinds by the original stars of burlesque’s Golden Age. They bring a little Southern sizzle to the Pacific Northwest and abroad with their inspired combination of vintage Bourbon Street striptease, show-stopping choreography, and MGM-era glamour.

The show is expected to sell out. Happy hour begins at 6:15 p.m. with cocktails, beer and wine. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are $45 for “gold” premium seats (reserved in first five rows with special treats); $35 for “silver” reserved seating, assigned by purchase date. Requests and group seating can be accommodated by emailing Methow Arts at Tickets are $40 at the door – while supplies last.

Tickets can be purchased online at and at the Methow Arts office in Twisp. For information call 997-4004.
