The New Old Time Chataqua will come to Pearrygin Lake State Park for three days in June 2018, and local residents who might be interested in participating are invited to find out more at a meeting from 9 a.m. – noon on Sept. 15 at The Cove II in  Twisp. Chautauqua organizer Paul Magid, State Parks Program Coordinator Debbie Fant and local park staff will explain how you or your organization can participate in the Chautauqua event.

The New Old Time Chautauqua, based in the Port Townsend area, is a community-based program of performances, workshops and other activities including a parade. Workshops can be hosted by local residents teaching their craft or talent to others attending the event.

To express interest in attending the local meeting, email Rick Lewis (Okanogan Highlands area manager for Conconully, Curlew Lake and Pearrygin Lake State Parks) at Rick.Lewis@parks.wa.gov, or call  996-2614, by Tuesday (Sept. 12).
