Request for Qualifications: Architectural Consultant – Methow Valley School District
Methow Valley School District requests qualifications from architectural consultants.
It is recommended that a full text of the RFQ and project description be downloaded at http://bit.ly/methow_rfq or requested by email from bhover@methow.org.
In order to be considered, interested firms should submit qualifications addressing the following criteria:
Firm background and qualifications.
Current workload/staff availability for the project and schedule.
List of recent (within the last three years) projects of similar scope and size, with emphasis on K-12.
Describe your proposed creative approach to develop a bid package that will attract competitive bidding to a remote location.
Resumes of key individuals who to be assigned to the project
Include description of named staff responsibilities on the public school projects listed.
Consultant may not substitute key staff on this project without prior written authorization from the owner.
An optional pre-submittal meeting will be held at 1:00 pm on September 30, 2016.
The submittal package shall be by PDF electronic format only and shall be limited to twelve (12) 8.5” x 11” pages.
RFP Submittal Due Date: October 14, 2016, 3:00 PM
Methow Valley School District will review all applicants and select the most qualified firms with which to negotiate a mutually agreeable contract for the anticipated scope of work based on project requirements and schedule. The district reserves the right to interview select firms, as it deems appropriate, prior to final selection.
The District is committed to providing the maximum practicable opportunity for participation by Minority Business Enterprises (MBE), Women Business Enterprises (WBE), and Veteran Owned Businesses; however, no minimum level of participation shall be required as a condition of selection.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN there was an error in the public notice for the above titled action published on September 28, 2016. The caption identified the action as the issuance of a final determination of non-significance for the proposed revisions to the critical areas ordinance while the body of the notice correctly identified it as the threshold determination.
Due to the error the SEPA Responsible Official is extending the comment period 7 days to October 21, 2016 to allow additional time for those who wish to submit comments. Okanogan Basin Monitoring, SEPA 2016-10. Final SEPA Determination.
The SEPA Responsible Official has issued a final determination of non-significance (DNS) on the following project. The intent of the Okanogan Basin Monitoring project is to quantify the clast distribution and relative clast abundance of streambed sediment in key areas of the Okanogan River subbasin. The project proposed includes extracting sediment samples from the streambed with hand shovels and sorting the samples into 4 size classes. Once sorted and weighed all material coarser than 16mm will be returned to the excavation site. Project Location: The project is located on various parcels within the Okanogan River Sub Basin within sections 31, 27, 36, 16, 04, 15, 05, 10, 14, T37, 38, 40, 32, 33, 34N, and R27, 28, 25, 26 E.
