Two new exhibits will open on Oct. 15 at Confluence Gallery in Twisp.
“Peaceable Kingdom,” a collection of works by Justin Gibbens, will be displayed in the Community Gallery. The exhibit features works rendered in gouache on found Arabic manuscripts inspired by the classical painting tradition of Persian miniatures. Gibbens’ works have been widely exhibit and collected.
“Paper,” an exhibit featuring the works of several artists, will be displayed in the main gallery. The show, curated by Nicole Ringgold, will spotlight paper art in its many forms including making, cutting, collage, printing, sculpture and origami.
A reception for both exhibits will be from 4 – 8 p.m.

Confluence also announced that is has launched a new website at https://confluencegallery.com. The site was updated with the help of a grant from the Icicle Fund and supporting donations from gallery members.
