Justin Gibbens’ works will be on display in a solo exhibit at Confluence Gallery beginning Oct. 15.

Two new exhibits will open on Oct. 15 at Confluence Gallery in Twisp.

“Peaceable Kingdom,” a collection of works by Justin Gibbens, will be displayed in the Community Gallery. The exhibit features works rendered in gouache on found Arabic manuscripts inspired by the classical painting tradition of Persian miniatures. Gibbens’ works have been widely exhibit and collected.

“Paper,” an exhibit featuring the works of several artists, will be displayed in the main gallery. The show, curated by Nicole Ringgold, will spotlight paper art in its many forms including making, cutting, collage, printing, sculpture and origami.

A reception for both exhibits will be from 4 – 8 p.m.

Both exhibits continue through Nov. 19. For more information, call 997-2787.
