Saturday morning when we opened the doors for the Winter Sale, around 100 people were lined up waiting.
There were some great bargains going out the door. People were hauling large black bags out with big smiles on their faces.
The sale will be going for a few more weeks, so come in and check it out. Then Halloween will move into the sale room starting Oct. 15, with the Christmas Sale right behind it setting up Nov. 1.
If you are going to leave your garbage on our doorstep it’s probably a good idea not to leave a lot of personal information and bills with your name on them. That’s what happened Sunday afternoon. Shame on you — that was real nasty stuff. The dump is just down the road and not that expensive.
The Thrift Store is open Monday, Thursday and Friday from 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m., and Saturday during the Farmers Market.
