Roberta Corrine Horner passed away on Wednesday, July 20, at the age of 85. Corrine was born in Twisp on Sept. 11, 1930, to A.E. and Cora (Kent) Scott. She married Fred J. Horner on Sept. 6, 1947, in Wenatchee. Fred preceded her in death in 1992. She also lost sons Jerry in 1967, and Jack in 2003. She was the last remaining child in the A.E. Scott family, having lost three brothers and three sisters, as well as her parents.

Corrine is survived by her daughter Jill (Horner) Rehm and husband, Jim, of Omak; son Brian and wife Mary of Okanogan; and son Fred of Auburn. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

At Corrine’s request, no services will be held, her only wish being that her family continue to carry on the tradition of visiting the gravesites of her loved ones followed by a picnic at the Twisp City Park on Memorial Day.
