The Okanogan County commissioners have set Tuesday (July 26) at 2:30 p.m. to consider adoption of the update to the county’s zoning code.

This is a continuation of their public hearing on the code, the fifth in their series of deliberations on the ordinance. The commissioners closed public comment on July 12.

The most recent changes were to sections on nightly rentals and marijuana operations.

Once adopted, this will be the first major update to the zoning code in 38 years.

The meeting is in the commissioners’ hearing room in Okanogan.
