What’s happening to mail delivery of your Methow Valley News?

The short answer is, we don’t know. But we’re working hard to find out.

Many of you — way too many of you — have called us the past few weeks to let us know that the paper didn’t reach your mailbox or post office box. It’s frustrating for us as well, particularly since in almost all cases there is nothing wrong with your subscription.

Ideally, a mail subscription should arrive locally on Thursday. However, some of you haven’t been getting your paper at all. We are reviewing our own process and working with the Wenatchee World — which prints the Methow Valley News and applies the ink-jet addresses on delivered newspapers — and the local post offices to figure out what we can do to make sure the newspaper arrives as intended.

Please let us know if you don’t get your paper. If you have any questions, call us at 997-7011 or email frontdesk@methowvalleynews.com.
