“Back to the Garden,” Confluence Gallery’s new exhibit, opens Saturday (June 11) with a reception from 4-8 p.m.
The group exhibit will feature works that explore ideas of renewal and growth, literally and metaphorically returning to the garden.
The exhibit will feature a special solo collection “Sterling Botanicals: A Hand Fabricated Collection,” by local silversmith Nicole Ringgold.
“Back to the Garden” is curated Methow Valley artists Joanne Marracci and Melissa Raye-Hovee. It continues through July 16.
Also opening Saturday with a reception at the same time is “Pigments,” a solo exhibit by local artist Sara Ashford. Her work will be on display in the Community Gallery.
Ashford will present drawings and paintings created with natural earth pigments and botanical dyes. She grows many of these botanicals in her Culler Studio garden on the TwispWorks campus.
“Pigments” also continues through July 16.
The Twisp gallery’s regular hours are 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday. For more information, call 997-2787 or visit www.confluencegallery.com.
