Season practices and parents’ meetings are just around the corner for varsity volleyball, girls’ soccer, and cross-country.
The girls’ volleyball team will hit the practice court from 6:30 – 8:15 a.m. and again from 7 – 8:30 p.m. on Monday (Aug. 25) under the watchful eye of returning head coach Tim Boonstra.
The parents’ meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday (Aug. 21) in the Liberty Bell High School Library. Questions can be directed to coach Boonstra at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The varsity girls’ soccer team will be on the practice pitch from 7 – 10:30 a.m. Monday (Aug. 25). As of this writing, head coach Lincoln Post is awaiting venue confirmation for the parents’ meeting and requests that those interested in knowing the specific date, time and place contact him at 997-2251.
The varsity cross-country runners will be out on the LBHS track Monday (Aug. 25) as well. They will practice all week from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. and on Labor Day (Sept. 1). Coach Craig Herlihy said that no running experience is required for those interested in turning out for the team.
“I’m also in contact with all the parents and we’ll have a meeting sometime that week,” Herlihy added.
