Local favorite Laura Love will be joined by the Fayetteville, Arkansas-based band Big Bad Gina in a concert next Wednesday (Aug. 27) at the Twisp River Pub. There will be a $3 cover charge and the show will be from 6:30 – 9:30 a.m. For more information, call 997-6822.

Family dance at the Barn

The Outlaws will provide the music for a Labor Day weekend family dance on Aug. 30 at the Winthrop Barn from 7:30 – 11 p.m. There will be a no-host bar and food available. Cost is $5; kids under age 12 will be admitted free.

More Madcap at The Merc

Madcap Melodrama and The Merc Playhouse in Twisp will join forces to present an audio play of The Vampire, or the Bride of the Isles on Sept. 5, 6 and 7. The play is based on a tale by J.R. Planché as adapted by director by Ki Gottberg. Cost is $15 or $5 for those 18 and younger. Show times are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. on Sunday. For more information, call 997-7529.
