Confluence exhibit opens Saturday
“Fall in the Methow,” the Confluence Gallery’s new exhibit, will open Saturday (Aug. 2) with an artists reception from 4-8 p.m. Local artists were invited to share their responses to autumn in the valley.

Home Tour coming up
The Confluence Gallery’s 13th annual Methow Valley Home Tour, whose theme this year is “Rooflines,” will take place on Aug. 9 from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. This year, all 10 homes on the tour are in the Mazama area, and most of the tour is accessible by bicycle. Tickets are $25 or $20 per person for groups of four, and are available at the gallery in Twisp before the tour, and at the Mazama Store on the day of the tour. The gallery will donate 25 percent of all proceeds to the Community Foundation of North Central Washington’s Fire Relief Fund. For more information, call 997-2787.

•The Farm to Table Dinner scheduled for Saturday (Aug. 2) has been cancelled.
•A scheduled Aug. 5 appearance by the Western Washington University theater and dance department’s Repertory West Dance Ensemble has been cancelled, organizers said.
