Plug-In North Central Washington, an organization that supports electric vehicles, is hosting the North Cascades EV Rally of Discovery on June 6 and 7, with a major portion of the route in the Methow Valley.

The 157-mile rally will begin on June 7 at Pine Near RV Park in Winthrop, which has an electric charging station, then proceed by way of Highway 20 and U.S. Highway 97 to Omak, then back down Highway 97 to Pateros, then up the lower Methow Valley via Highway 153, and finally finishing at the Mazama Country Inn (another charging station).

Rally participants can “play” poker by picking up cards at Blue Star Coffee Roasters and Twisp River Pub, the Loup Loup summit, the Omak Inn, and the Pateros Lakeshore Inn.

Registration is $25 per car on the Eventbrite.com website. For more information, email plugincenter@gmail.com.
