Steelhead-tThe Columbia River and tributaries above Rock Island Dam, including the Methow and Okanogan rivers, will be closed to fishing for steelhead one hour after sunset on Monday (March 31), the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife announced.

Other rivers that will be closed to steelhead fishing include the Wenatchee, Icicle and Similkameen rivers. The Methow River will be closed from its mouth on the Columbia to its confluence with the Chewuch River in Winthrop.
