Two candidates will be interviewed next week for the job of Three Rivers Hospital chief executive officer.

The candidates were identified by the hospital as Scott Graham and Eugene Suksi. Hospital spokesman Rebecca Meadows said the hospital was not authorized to release further information.

Online business networking sites list Graham as CEO of Coulee Medical Center in Coulee City, and Suksi as former CEO of Sutter Coast Hospital in Crescent City, Calif.

Both candidates will be introduced at a special hospital board meeting beginning at 8 a.m., March 25. The agenda calls for the board to meet in executive session and then vote in open session on a replacement for CEO Bud Hufnagel.

Hufnagel, who was hired three years ago to conduct a financial “turnaround” for the financially troubled hospital, announced earlier this year that he will resign at the end of April.
