New look for Bluebird
Bluebird Grain Farms has introduced new packaging for its retail dinner line: Whole Grain Emmer Farro, Split Emmer Farro and Potlatch Pilaf. Also added to the product line are whole grain einka and einka flour, described as “a protein rich, delicate, petite ancient grain.”
Job fair coming in April
Local employers are encouraged to take advantage of the Methow Valley Job and Resource Fair on April 3 to connect with potential local employees. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Methow Valley Community Center in Twisp, and plans call for including educational institutions, career development services and alternative employment opportunities such as Peace Corps and Job Corps. Build a WordPress website

Farmers market for Pateros
A group has been formed to establish a farmers market in Pateros. Organizers are proposing that the market be held on Fridays from 2 – 6 p.m. at a location on Highway 97. Anyone interested can call George Pearson at (509) 686-1022 or email email@example.com.
