The February meeting of the Methow Valley Fly Fishing Club will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 18) in the Liberty Bell High School library.
Featured speaker Rich Delorenzo, MVFF club member and expert fly fisherman, will present “Fly fishing for king salmon in Alaska,” about a remote river where few fishermen venture and double-digit catch weights are par for the course.
“This is one of the few rivers in the world where you can catch ocean bright kings using only a floating line and unweighted flies,” says club spokesman Bill Massengill.
MVFFC meetings are open to the public. For more information contact Massengill at 996-2359.
