Senior CenterBy Rosalie Hutson

We had our monthly clean-up day and culled out the summer clothes and moved what was left of the Winter Sale down to the Rummage Room. Now Jodie will be able to move in the Halloween Sale. She has saved costumes and clothes to make costumes out of plus masks and decorations all year. You should be able to make yourself a spooktacular Halloween. The sale opens Oct. 12.

Monday (Sept. 30) is our door prize gift basket drawing. You must be signed up and eating lunch to enter. Also on Monday the Health Alliance will explain Medicare supplemental insurance in Okanogan County at 12:30 p.m. Maybe they can answer some questions you have.

It doesn’t seem like summer should be over but here we are into fall already. And I don’t think anyone is really ready for winter yet.

Thanks to Albert Ames for giving us an extra dance day each month for a couple of months. We all enjoyed the music.

And thanks to Art Zink for all the wonderful fruit he has been bringing us. I have enjoyed my peach and apple crisps. He goes out of his way to be kind and sharing with the senior center every fall. Thanks again.
