The Methow Chapter of the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance will host a Second Sunday Singletrack Session trail work party on the Foggy Dew trail south of Carlton on Sept. 15.
The work party is in partnership with the U.S. Forest Service and is in support of a trail maintenance grant the Forest Service received for that area. Volunteer hours from the Mountain Bike Alliance can be used by the Forest Service as a match for grant funding.
Participants should meet at 8 a.m. at the Winthrop Barn to carpool to the trailwork area, or meet at the Foggy Dew trailhead at approximately 9 a.m. Bring water, a sack lunch, and work gloves. Tools will be provided.
For more information or to RSVP contact methowevergreenmtb@gmail.com.
The work party will also be part of Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance’s 2013 Dig-a-thon and all volunteers will be entered in a raffle with a chance to win prizes from Evergreen and their supporters. The drawing will be held at the end of September and it is not necessary to be present to win.
