ABANDONED VEHICLE: A caller reported that a vehicle had been parked abnormally on Twisp River Road.

JUVENILE PROBLEM: A caller on  Second Mile Road, Twisp, reported that a teenager had not returned home.

Aug. 13

WEAPONS OFFENSE: A caller reported hearing a gunshot near South Glover Street in Twisp.

NON-INJURY ACCIDENT: A non-injury accident was reported on East Chewuch Road near Winthrop.

FRAUD: A caller on Pleasant View Drive in Winthrop reported that someone claiming to be a law enforcement officer had called and asked to verify a credit card number.

THEFT: The theft of a canoe was reported on Osprey Lane, Twisp.

Aug. 14

ILLEGAL BURNING: Some people had a campfire going at a road turnout on the Chewuch River past Boulder Creek.

HARASSMENT: Caller on North Glover Street reported that a man was in the caller’s car, refusing to get out and refusing to hand over the caller’s keys.

Aug. 15

THEFT: A theft was reported on South Glover Street.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: Malicious behavior was reported on Bigelow Street.

CIVIL ISSUE: A civil issue was reported on Bigelow Street, involving a shotgun and a pistol.

Aug. 16

VICIOUS ANIMAL: A vicious animal report was filed from Burton Street.

ILLEGAL BURNING: Illegal burning was reported on Highway 153, but it turned out to be a controlled burn in a field.

MALICIOUS MISCHIEF: Malicious mischief was reported on Riverside Avenue.

Aug. 18

BURGLARY: Several juveniles had been caught breaking into a building earlier, and at least two returned to the scene later.

FOUND PROPERTY: A bicycle was reported to have been abandoned for at least two days in the town park.

DOMESTIC DISPUTE: Caller reported that an ex-girlfriend was throwing drinks and other items around inside of a vehicle.

CITIZEN DISPUTE: A dispute was reported on North Lincoln Street.

Aug. 14

DISABLED VEHICLE: A disabled vehicle was reported at Highway 20 and Goat Creek Road.

THEFT: A theft was reported at a location on Highway 20.

Aug. 15

UNSECURE PREMISES: An unsecured building was reported on Bridge Street.

Aug. 17

ASSAULT: An assault was reported on Castle Avenue.

AGENCY ASSIST: Assistance was requested at Pearrygin Lake State Park.

Aug. 18

BURGLARY: A burglary was reported on Riverside Avenue – a window was broken at the front of the building.

TRAFFIC HAZARD: It was reported that a utility line of some kind was lying across Riverside Avenue.
