Last week I made a mistake on the price of the lunches. They are only $3.25, not $3.75 like I said. Guess I had a senior moment. Thanks for bringing that to my attention, Howard. Didn’t mean to scare everyone.
If you are a senior member and want to sign up for the barbecue on July 24, time is running out. It’s getting close. Come join the Senior Center. It’s only $1.25 a year for 60 and over.
Now if I was 20 years younger, I’d be enjoying the heat and swimming at the lake, but now I don’t enjoy the heat. I would much rather be working in the nice cool rummage room. It’s always a surprise what we get donated, some nice things, some not. We have everything from A to Z, appliances to zebras. Come check with us – we may be able to save you a lot of money on something you really need. Right now we have a bookshelf, and some sterling silver jewelry.
We are still getting a lot of TVs dropped off right beside the sign that says “NO TVs.” Please take old TVs to recycling, along with computers, printers and other things. There have been five dropped off in a week.
Bingo this Thursday after lunch. Come and try your luck.
